Hi! I’m Scott. :)

I’ve had an amazing career as a successful entrepreneur and early stage tech employee in Silicon Valley and moved back to Canada in 2021 to be closer to family. I’ve managed small and large teams, volunteered and sat on the board of a non-profit, and co-teach a leadership program. After becoming a dad, I decided to take a break from my career but told my friends and colleagues id always be available for a calI. I soon started getting calls about a specific business challenge, product idea, opportunity, etc. that people wanted my opinion on and I found in a few conversations we could really unpack the situation and come up with an action plan to accomplish their goals. I loved these ad hoc engagements so I started Pop Consulting to offer short term/ad hoc advisory services to help entrepreneurs, businesses, and non-profits achieve their goals.

  • I love helping people overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I’ve co-taught a leadership program and I have over a decade of experience advising founders on everything from strategic growth, product direction, hiring, and marketing.

  • I’ve helped more than one early stage startup pop into a profitable and sustainable unicorn and helped some of the largest consultancies in the world better understand how to utilize digital products to help their end clients.

  • I’m an entrepreneur too! I’ve helped create an award winning San Francisco based digital SaaS platform & agency. We grew from four people to over fifty in three years I know what it’s like to rapidly and strategically grow. We advised startups and Fortune 500 on digital marketing strategy and were acquired.

  • I was an early employee at Facebook/Instagram and helped grow the Facebook Marketing Partnerships team. We helped countless developers, agencies, startups, and large consultancies understand how to best leverage the Meta family of apps to transform their clients’ business. I continue to advise on the tech space and am very optimistic about what the future opportunities to come.
